CHAPEL HILL, N. Cheap Adidas Shoes .C. -- North Carolina wont have a difficult time finding motivation this season. The memories of losing in the NCAA championship game on a last-second 3-pointer to Villanova still sting more than six months later. It was the crushing final play in a 33-win season that saw the Tar Heels go from a preseason No. 1-ranked team questioned about its toughness to a group that matured enough to sweep the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season and tournament titles before reaching the Final Four. There are enough veteran returnees for UNC to have the potential to do it again, driven by the memory of coming so oh-so-close to cutting down the nets in April.Every time I turn around and look up at the banners, where the national championship banners are, junior Joel Berry II said, sometimes it hurts me that we dont have the 2016 national championship up there. So its just motivation to me.Some Tar Heels, including Hall of Fame coach Roy Williams, still havent watched film from the loss.I thought we had a great, great year but its just like somebody pulls your heart out and taunts you by shaking it in front of you, Williams said. But youve got to get over it.The Tar Heels (33-7, 14-4 ACC) have some big holes with the losses of four-year starter Marcus Paige -- the guy UNC looked for when it needed a big shot -- and Associated Press all-American Brice Johnson inside. But they return six of their top eight scorers while adding a top-10 recruiting class.Berry is the top returning scorer (12.8 points), while fellow junior Justin Jackson (12.2) and senior big man Kennedy Meeks are returning starters. The Tar Heels also return ACC sixth man of the Isaiah Hicks, now likely to earn a promotion into the starting lineup. On the bench, senior Nate Britt provides backcourt depth along with junior Theo Pinson -- out indefinitely with a broken bone in his right foot -- and sophomore wing Kenny Williams III.The Tar Heels also will get help up front from McDonalds All-American Tony Bradley Jr., who headlines a wing-heavy recruiting class.---Some other things to know about the Tar Heels this season:PINSONS INJURY: Pinsons injury during a recent practice, announced Friday, has the potential to be a big blow. The versatile swingman is the teams top defender, a good passer and a leader with a knack for keeping up team morale .BERRY IN CHARGE?: Berry looks like the top candidate to take Paiges role as the guy to entrust with taking the big shot. He was the teams best outside shooter (38 percent from 3-point range) and led the team in assists, steals and free-throw percentage. And in a sign that Berry could be ready for a leap, he upped his game by averaging 13.7 points and shooting 50 percent in six NCAA Tournament games -- ending with 20 points against Villanova.HICKS FOUL TROUBLE: Keeping Hicks on the floor last season was a challenge, including twice in the final 10 games when he picked up four or five fouls in fewer than 10 minutes. The 6-foot-9 forward brings scoring and rebounding, and he was the teams defensive player of the game eight times -- third most on the team behind Paige and Berry. The Tar Heels need him out there this year with fewer frontcourt options.JACKSONS GROWTH: Jackson has good size on the perimeter and has been a complimentary scorer through his first two seasons. The Tar Heels need him to become a consistent scorer now in a leading role, especially when it comes to improving his 29-percent shooting from behind the arc last year. Hes an unselfish player and has occasionally seemed content to blend into the background, but the Tar Heels are tougher to stop when hes playing assertively .THE ROOKIES: The 6-foot-10 Bradley, a native of Bartow, Florida, will have a shot at immediate minutes for a team with only Meeks and Hicks returning to the frontcourt. The rest of that recruiting class brings depth on the wing with Brandon Robinson, Seventh Woods and Shea Rush.---Follow Aaron Beard on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/aaronbeardap and the APs college basketball site at http://collegebasketball.ap.org Cheap UA Shoes . Wragge hit 9-of-14 from behind the arc, matching Kyle Korvers school record for 3-pointers in a game set in 2003, as Creighton (16-3, 6-1 Big East broke a conference record with 21 treys in the rout. http://www.cheapshoesfree.com/ . -- Matt Rupert scored once in regulation and again in the shootout as the London Knights extended their win streak to nine games by defeating the Owen Sound Attack 4-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action. Disneys Queen of Katwe, which hits theatres Friday, was shot on location in Kampala, Uganda -- and the country becomes a lead character in the movie. The film is based on real-world happenings, centering around the life of chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi, who hails from Katwe, an impoverished enclave in Kampala. At just 15 years old, she became a woman candidate master after dominating the World Chess Olympiads in 2012.The film is based on the essay Game of her Life, which Tim Crothers penned for ESPN The Magazine in 2011. The story, and later a biographical novel, provided an honest look into Mutesis path to greatness, including the hurdles she leaped over to get there.Directed by Mira Nair (Mississippi Masala and Salaam Bombay!), the film stars Uganda-born newcomer Madina Nalwanga as Mutesi; Kenya-reared Lupita Nyongo as Mutesis mother, Nakku Harriet; and Nigerian David Oyelowo in the role of Robert Katende, a missionary and refugee of Ugandas civil war who started a chess program in Katwe. The film was intentionally cast with actors who have a direct connection to Africa, which brings an organic authenticity to the film. The thought being: If the story and people are real, the films visuals should be as well.Part of laminating that sense of truth was creating the right imagery, and thats where Nigeria-born Mobolaji Dawodu comes in. As a fashion editor and the films costume designer, he curated the wardrobe and created a storyline with clothing. My dad is Nigerian, and my first few years of life took place in Nigeria. Im very familiar with the continent. It was like going home for me, noted Dawodu, who drew inspiration for the film from everything I saw growing up.Once in Uganda, Dawodu scoured the retail outlets of Kampala for items that would work with his vision for the film. The first stop was the markets, he said. I wanted to see what the people were wearing and how they interacted.Typically, theres this sense of distance in African films, mainly because people ssee Africa as this one [monolithic] country rather than the very diverse continent it is.dddddddddddd Each country is different, and especially in respect to wardrobe and how they dress. For instance, Nigerians dress much different than South Africans.Dawodu visited the real-life home of Mutesis mom and thumbed through her closet to draw inspiration for Nyongos wardrobe.I wanted to really study and bring her personality to the screen, he said.Owino Market, which is Kampalas largest (though there are several) and hosts about 500,000 traders, features stalls that sell everything from secondhand clothing and shoes to food and household appliances. But its most renowned for its wide variety of vintage wears. So, of course, Dawodu wanted this very central part of life in Uganda incorporated in the film. You know those bins you see [referring to clothing donation bins], many of the items end up in open markets. So [in Kampala], they have clothes from all over the world, Dawodu said. They have an Indian section, a kids section, hat section, dress coat section, jean section -- its like a huge department store in there.Though many of the printed pieces were custom-made for the film, Dawodu was sure to integrate his finds from the open market into the film. I worked with many of the local designers. I wanted to shop where the locals shopped, he said.Kanga cloth, a colorful piece of fabric which is typically used as a wrap, and the traditional Ugandan floor-length (often printed) dress called a Busuuti (alternatively named Gomesi) were infused into the films wardrobe as well. The landscape of Africa is colorful and vibrant, so I wanted to bring that to the project. I wanted to load the world with color, Dawodu said. The movie highlights the complexities of Africa in a raw and lovely manner -- a job well-done for the creative team, including Dawodu.
